I am submitting this complaint regarding the care I received from my rheumatologist during a year-long osteoporosis treatment with 12 injections of Evenity.
Throughout my treatment, I was never informed that a follow-up bone density (DEXA) scan was necessary to monitor the effectiveness of the medication. I scheduled a follow-up appointment after completing the full course, believing this was the appropriate and safe next step. At no point did the physician or the office advise me that delaying this scan could negatively affect the evaluation of my treatment or potentially my health.
After independently completing the bone density test, the results showed no improvement. When I addressed this with the physician, I found her response dismissive and unprofessional. She explicitly stated that she “does not chase patients,” indicating a refusal to provide proactive follow-up or guidance — despite the serious nature of osteoporosis and the commitment required for injectable therapy.
Patients rely on their physicians to provide clear instructions, monitor progress, and adjust treatment as necessary. The lack of communication and follow-up in my case represents a serious lapse in standard medical care and could have put my health at risk.
I request a formal review of this situation to ensure that patients undergoing long-term treatments like osteoporosis therapy are properly monitored, informed of critical follow-up testing, and treated with professional respect.

I was very pleased with Dr. Narula and her staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I have recently started having arthritis symptoms and needed the basics. Dr. Narula did a great job explaining to me the different types of arthritis and treatments. I have a follow up appointment to discuss any lab findings/results and also to discuss how the hand excercises etc have helped. I would highly recommend her.

I was very unhappy because I was made to feel stupid for my symptoms. I shared what was going on and my family history with the same issues and she basically told me I was lying. Thankfully since then, I have found a doctor that was actually willing to hear me out and get to the root of the problem.

Dr Narula was very personable and professional. She already had all my blood work to go over and thought the issue I am having may be something more going on with my spine or neck and ordered x-rays and I was able to get them completed the same day. We will follow up with a Zoom call. I did not have to wait long for her and she was very easy to speak to

You know, I can’t really be bothered with a detailed review. Suffice to say it’s all about the repeat appointments, billing etc. and doctor won’t speak to you on the phone.

Dr. Narula really cares about her patients. She is professional and provides the best care for her patients. She had provided with excellent care and has helped me tremendously manage my arthritis. Her office staff also is one of the best when it comes to courtesy and professionalism.
