I was hesitant to leave a review because I was very disappointed with my experience and left feeling dismissed and unheard. Unfortunately, this was my third visit and is my last. I am should have found a different specialist, but her office already had me setup in their system, so I went back.
During my appointment, she reviewed my results and listened as I explained my symptoms and medical history again. She explained that, from her professional perspective, the results did not indicate a recurrence of disease, which I was grateful to hear. However, because my primary care physician had expressed concerns after seeing certain indicators, I was confused and wanted a better understanding.
When explaining the results, she quickly reviewed information on her laptop using terminology that was difficult for me to understand. When I asked questions, I left feeling like I was being talked down to rather than supported. The conversation shifted toward losing weight and seeing another specialist for a separate pre-existing condition.
I explained that my primary care physician specifically referred me back to rheumatology because she noticed changes in my labs and because I had recently experienced what felt like a flare-up. At that point, I was told that I did not have lupus, and the appointment ended abruptly without much discussion or an opportunity to ask additional questions.
After leaving the office, I sat in my car and cried because I left feeling more confused and discouraged than when I arrived.
Dr. Narula may be knowledgeable, but compassion and communication are equally important parts of patient care. Unfortunately, I did not feel supported during my experience, and because of that, I would not recommend this provider.

I was very pleased with Dr. Narula and her staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I have recently started having arthritis symptoms and needed the basics. Dr. Narula did a great job explaining to me the different types of arthritis and treatments. I have a follow up appointment to discuss any lab findings/results and also to discuss how the hand excercises etc have helped. I would highly recommend her.

I was very unhappy because I was made to feel stupid for my symptoms. I shared what was going on and my family history with the same issues and she basically told me I was lying. Thankfully since then, I have found a doctor that was actually willing to hear me out and get to the root of the problem.

Dr Narula was very personable and professional. She already had all my blood work to go over and thought the issue I am having may be something more going on with my spine or neck and ordered x-rays and I was able to get them completed the same day. We will follow up with a Zoom call. I did not have to wait long for her and she was very easy to speak to

You know, I can’t really be bothered with a detailed review. Suffice to say it’s all about the repeat appointments, billing etc. and doctor won’t speak to you on the phone.
